Last weekend we have been in Dun Laoghaire, one of the nicest ports I have seen in Ireland. Potter around the pier and let the sun shine on your face. The city centre is very small but also very nice. Try one of the cafes or restaurants. Eat some vegetarian food and perhaps have some delicious tea with a deep apple pie. It was one of the weekends were I can totaly recover from work.

Travelling from Dublin to Cork by bus is a very easy thing. Just book your ride with AirCoach. They drive you to Cork within 4 hours. The buses are really comfortable, even if you are tall. They stop once in the middle of nowhere for a 10 minute break, enough time to get yourself to the toilet and also to the shop to buy some chocolate. But as a word of warning: you should expect delays during the ride‑ the four hours journey time on paper does tend to be closer to 4 hours 30 minutes in reality.

When you arrive at Cork you will like the lovely sight at the river Lee and the several different bridges crossing it. Perhaps you have booked an room at a B&B in advance? If not than it is time to get a suitable accommodation. We will advise you to book in advance as Cork is a popular city especially in the summer. The Ardarahouse house is a very nice place to stay, affordable and peaceful.

Snicers is a runner!

Finland is my favourite country. It is rich in nature. It's infrastructure is well bild (not like in Ireland). The people are friendly. I'd enjoyed every journey to Finland. Once I got on the train to Rovaniemi, where St. Claus, lives, and had a good day there. What should I say? Check the fotos!

When I came back from Vienna and even back to Berlin we had a small journey to Hamburg. There are so many things to see and do and for tourist reasons we had a small tourist bus tour. Went to the harbour later on and had some lunch. The Elbtunnel is pretty cool as well as "die alte Speicherstadt". We actually went there and visited one of the greatest permanent train miniature exhibition.

I was reading a Chagall biography when they announced the Chagall exhibition "Mythen der Bibel", I booked my train ticket to Vienna two weeks later, it was Christmas. Chagalls paintings are somehow very special to me. Before I arrived at Vienna I send an SMS to an old Chat friend of mine "Identity" and we later had a chat in a café. The city is nice, the architecture is great, there are some buildings from Hundertwasser, don't forget the Hass Haus (you won't probably miss it!) and the Stephansdom. I was walking through the city without any plan, found the Albertina and had 2 hours with the most interesting paintings seen so far.
