When you are buying a Porsche Cayenne in Europe, especially Norway, you have to pay a penaltie and/or luxury tax up to 53.000,- €. The Porsche Cayenne produces about 358g CO2 /km and uses up to 21l per 100km within the city. That's an enormous emission and fuel usage. This is somehow notorious pollution. Who will pay for the pollution cleanup at the end? Porsche? You? I? Perhaps penalties and luxury tax is not enough. Porsche and the guys who are buying these gas guzzlers don't care for the environment.
Some month ago the EU fined Microsoft with millions of Euros because of its non-compliance. Probably to be fined with 899 Million Euros is not enough for a giant? Now perhaps it’s time for the real cure. Two members of the European Parliament, Heide Rühle (GRÜNEN/EFA) and Alain Lipietz, have asked officially at the EU Commission that when Microsoft was officially fined by the EU, does that mean that Microsoft is now banned from any new call for tenders?
From the financial regulation of the EU:
At the Blanchardstown shopping center is something for free. NOT really? No! But once you are walking through it you can't image where all these people should live? It's totally packed and the people carrying arround the big bags with many nice things in it. Knitt and I went for dinner and we had some delicious vegan felafel's. Knitt hat a Hot chocolate and I had a crème brulée (try it! its gorgeous!). ...
A normal Irish commuter train passenger will accept the following:
1st: There is an biased proportion of people standing on that door that will open at every station. On the other side it is nearly empty. This is the pears proportion. It is always the same: people are incapable of sharing space towards passenger who really needs it. Some are just reading their newspapers and never care for anyone else. I'm wondering how long Irish society will be able to handle this gapping difference.
2nd: The smell at Connolly Station is horrible.
3rd: The Maynooth line trains towards Connolly are already packed at Castleknock but Irishrail is not bringing up more service.
Some month ago I wrote to the EU. And than I got an answer from the EU office of transport. Basically they wrote nothing special. Just if this is harassment than it might be possible to get around all that hassle. It's not quite new for many that the VRO is not a good office. Perhaps we find another way round. Paying 2232 € for a scooter insurance (49ccm) is much too much and not affordable. For this money I can drive taxi a very long time, a very very long time.
